I write. I read. I travel. I garden. I walk. I watch. I listen. I write.  I’ve been in Sacramento for thirty years but still think of Baltimore, where I was born, as home.  Yet here I can grow oranges in my back yard, and who could move away from that? Sacramento lies in the center of the California so you can think of it as the hub of everything or the middle of nowhere. Still, it’s a nice place to live and work. Many trees, generous sunshine, abundant rivers and wildlife, lots to do and see and listen to.  And write about.
